What Saint Bernard Purebred Buyers need to know about Registry's

# 1. AKC is the oldest dog registry in the U.S compared to the ACA, which is a newer off group registry.

# 2. AKC is a more reputable dog registry club than any other registry in the USA.

# 3. AKC has more expensive services then the off registries but in the end with what they offer it is worth it.

# 4. There are 2 different CKC!~The (Continental Kennel Club) a Low grade scam Registry, THIS IS NOT AND NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) a sister club to the AKC in Canadian.

# 5. Puppy buyers beware of breeders who just say their dogs and puppies are "Registered". It is your responsibility to ASK if they are AKC registered as some breeders will not tell you that their dogs and puppies are registered with the CKC (Continental Kennel Club).

#6. It is your responsibility to ask questions and find out.....
Are these CKC puppies really what the breeder says they are?
Are they Purebred puppies?
Do they really know for sure who the sire & dam are?

#7. Why did they chosen to not register with AKC?
Is it because CKC is cheaper, because they don't require DNA testing to be sure of parentage, because they don't require inspection of their records of breedings and where their puppies go? Or maybe they purchased a pet quality dog purebred without papers (being held waiting on proof of spay/neuture) or on limited registration (without breeding rights) and decided to breed it anyway to get some puppies to sell with out doing health testing on the dogs.

These are just a few things People should stop and think about.....
Anyone can google this info and confirm...

I myself am an AKC registered Breeder of Saint Bernards and am Proud to have fine litter for sale and will stand behind The good things in the AKC!
